ABOUT Dr. Sarah
Sarah Duncan, DC, RVT, CAC
Dr. Sarah Duncan attended Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT for her undergraduate program, graduating with a double major in Biology and Equestrian Studies in 2003. Almost a decade later she enrolled in the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Life University in Atlanta, GA. Shortly before graduation she finally attended Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic in Wellsville, KS where she graduated with a certification in animal chiropractic.
Dr. Sarah grew up in Atlanta, GA to animal-loving parents. They actively bred and showed Scottish Terriers and had a busy kennel at their home. She helped manage the kennel, attended many dog shows and was involved in junior handling. With that experience, she obtained her first job as a kennel manager. She worked her way up the ranks and eventually became a seasoned veterinary technician. She continued that career path all through undergraduate school hoping to be accepted to veterinary school. But life had other plans for her! She discovered chiropractic after being involved in a car accident. Initially skeptical, she was amazed how it transformed her life and health. She also noticed this trend in horses she trained while she was a professional rider. As athletes, many of them obtained serious injuries and chiropractic care helped them recover faster and perform optimally. She started to realized that chiropractic might be the perfect career because it combined her passion for healing animals with her knowledge of science and veterinary medicine. She enrolled at Life University and has never looked back!
